Generally, young people aged from 18 to 30 years old (or 35 years old for some countries) can apply to come to Australia on the Working Holiday visa. This arrangement is to promote cultural exchange and closer ties between nominated countries.

Young people can visit Australia and support themselves by working for any employer for up to six months. They can also study up to four months.
